A familiar place. A story still unfolding.
An old building.
A new chapter.
For more than a century, 100 Sibley Street has been part of life in downtown Hastings. A place to work, gather, celebrate, and make memories.
Today, we’re looking ahead to its next chapter, and inviting you to help us tell the story.

Part of Hastings
One address.
Many chapters.
Some know it as the former Onion Grille. Others remember an earlier chapter. Over the years, this building has held a remarkable variety of businesses, public spaces, and personal stories.
We’re gathering those pieces of its past, from the signs on the storefront to the moments people still remember.

An earlier chapter as Hastings City Hall and the county court. Historical photographer unknown.

Garages & enterprise
Kingston’s Garage and Bahls Motor and Implement are among the businesses that have called this address home.
02 / COMMUNITY LIFE
Part of the public life
The Eagles Club, Hastings City Hall, and the county court each form part of its history. Hastings Golden Gloves boxers also trained in the basement.
03 / MEALS & MEMORIES
A place at the table
More recently, the Levee Cafe and Onion Grille welcomed diners, friends, and families celebrating occasions they still remember.

The next chapter
Hello, Hastings.
We’re Tommy & Lacey.
We’re a husband-and-wife team, and on September 29, 2026, we became the new owners of 100 Sibley Street.
Since introducing ourselves, we’ve been amazed by the memories, encouragement, and ideas the community has shared. We’re looking forward to building on that connection as plans for the property take shape.
“Our hope is to build on what makes downtown Hastings special and give people another reason to spend time here.”
